This Hall of Records was built in 1906 and demolished in 1973.
Photograph article dated February 4, 1953 reads, "Ticklish Job - Workmen (arrows) remove several large chunks of concrete ginger bread from top of Hall of Records here. The operation, made necessary because an earthquake shook some of the masonry loose, is being done at a cost of $46,000."
