Photograph caption dated May 10, 1960 reads "Pupils of Mrs. Doris Vaughan, right, at Walter Reed Junior High School celebrated two decades of student-written drama, comedy shows conducted mostly in French. Principal Evan Engberg said dramatic vehicles boost French class enrollment and are excellent method for teaching language. Presenting corsages are students Carol Kelsey, left, and Inge Kluth, native of France." Walter Reed Middle School is in North Hollywood.
