The semi-nude body of Mrs. Jeanne French, a 40-year old nurse of 3535 Military Avenue, Sawtelle, is shown where it was found in a field, located near Grand View Avenue, south of National Boulevard in West Los Angeles. Investigators questioned her husband, Frank E. French, 47, who was arrested a month before for charges of wife beating. According to police, the couple separated after that incident.
