Kenneth Bianchi (aka: The Hillside Strangler; Steve Walker; Anthony D'Amato; Nicholas Fontana; Billy) was born in Rochester, N.Y., having been raised by foster parents. He arrived in Los Angeles in 1977 to stay with his cousin, Angelo Buono, Jr. Together they plotted and killed 13 young women in Buono's home in Glendale, Calif. These murders, known as the Hillside Strangler Murders occurred between 1977 and 1979.
