Description
Buckstone writes to Webster from Peak Hill, Sydenham about a farce or comedy that Webster wrote. He discusses the current style of showing plays, and the way the Haymarket theater uses farces and comedies. He mentions notes he has from other writers (Maddison Morton, Gillbert À Beckett) and a one-act he recently produced as a favor to "Mr. Arnott." Buckstone requests that Webster send his piece again, as Buckstone did not remember reading it. Buckstone signature appears on third page.
