Newest City - Milpitas became Santa Clara County's newest incorporated city Tuesday when residents voted 107 to 10 for sixth class city status. The new city's main street, as it looked on the eve of a new era as an industrial center and home of the Ford assembly plant, is show at top. Below are the city's first officers.
