"With 80 students in the class" - A Danish teacher in the Arcot School Project is telling: Indians would never dream of sleeping alone – fortunately so, as the Siloam Boarding School can neither afford or accommodate this. So at night they are using the gymnasium as the dormitory. Like home in the villages, the girls are sleeping close together, on mats placed on the floor. In the boxes at the back they keep all their belongings - one box for each with hair oil, books etc.
