Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the University of California, Los Angeles' Royce Hall, January, 1938. The building's entrance features three tall archways and two columns, which support a second level of three archways. The middle-most archway on the second level appears higher than the two neighboring archways. A pointed rooftop crowns the arched entrance, situated between two tall towers. An arched walkway lines the bottom of the building on both the front and right sides. The entire right side of the building can be seen in the right portion of the photograph, and a rounded, columned structure can be seen slightly right from center, while rows of both squared and arched windows line the three-story building on the right, all the way to the back of the building. Several rounded turrets stand atop roofs in this area. A large manicured lawn can be seen in front of the building, in the foreground.
