Description
David Bell and Rachel Dodge continue their discussion at the Central Library on February 22, 2015 about why Mansfield Park has always been the least popular of Austen's novels. David and Rachel argued with impeccable logic and disarming humor that the novel does not deserve this neglect--that in fact it is a better novel than its predecessor, Pride and Prejudice. David and Rachel were joined by two well-known Sacramento actors: Ryan Snyder and Jamie Kale, who performed scenes from "Lovers' Vows," a play crucial to the plot of Mansfield Park.
