Description
Two women are looking into an aviary, through netting. The woman on the left wears a white lace cap with pink flowers and bows. Her dress is white with a pattern of small pink flowers, and has long sleeves. Over her dress she wears a short black dolman jacket with three-quarter length sleeves. The woman on the left wears a white bonnet with blue ribbon and pink flowers. Her dress is yellow with long sleeves and buttons down her bodice. The dress has blue flowers decorating the shoulders, the ends of her sleeves and at the hem of her skirt. Both skirts are very wide; it is the height of the crinoline fashion.
