Photograph caption dated August 10, 1957 reads "Joseph Nathan receives plaque from Mrs. Verna Saylor, president of Sun Valley Women's Auxiliary of City of Hope, for outstanding work in raising more than $400 during June for City of Hope. Presentation was at auxiliary's annual meeting at home of Mrs. Homer Leedy, 11176 Tamarack Ave., Pacoima."
