Description
“Mr. Traill’s Bungalow.” Exterior views of bungalow building and the surrounding gardens. John Traill, ordained 1869, came to Jaipur with his wife in 1872. He returned home briefly in 1876 and was replaced by Dr. George Macalister. Rev. Traill eventually returned to Jaipur. While Dr. Macalister focused on education, Rev. Traill focused on ecclesiastical organization and preaching. ❧ United Free Church of Scotland photographs from the Rajputana mission.
