The church, originally located at Third Street and Pacific Avenue in an area once known as Simiopolis, was relocated to Strathearn Park in 2002. Photograph caption dated July 9, 1963 reads, "Materials for church came around 'Horn' in 1898. Originally Protestant, the structure was turned over to Catholics in 1913."; See image #00119042 for additional photo in this series.
