Title supplied by cataloger. The Herald-Examiner wrongly identified this Richard Serra sculpture. It is titled "Plunge", consists of Cor-Ten steel, 2 slabs, 8' by 8' by 9" and was installed for a Richard Serra exhibition at the Larry Gagosian Gallery, 510 North Robertson Blvd., May 14-June 25, 2983. Photograph caption reads: "Serra's "Bilbao" consists of two huge slabs of solid, hot-rolled steel, each 9 feet square and 8 inches thick. They are imbedded upright in the concrete floor of the gallery. Each slab tilts forward slightly, with on corner sunken below the surface of the floor". Photograph dated: June 12, 1983.
