Small housing tract newly constructed and built next to a hillside. Streetscape. Horizontal photography. Additional information: There is a chance that this photo is of one of several privately owned garden apartment housing developments that sprang in the early 1950s around Crenshaw Boulevard. The rectilinear boulevard in the foreground is most likely Santa Barbara Boulevard (now, Martin Luther King Blvd.). The hillside in the background is probably the Baldwin Hills.
