Around the picture are multiple words and phases: "The oldest business house in Los Angeles, Established 1854. Pioneer saddle and harness factory. Samuel C. Foy, manufacturer and wholesale and retail dealer in Saddles, Harness, Collars, Whips, Harness, Skirting and Sole Leather, Calf and Sheep Skins, Morocco, etc., etc., Fly-Nets, Lap Robes, Dusters, Silver Inlaid Spanish Bits and Spurt.
