Warner, president of the Warner Brothers motion picture company of Burbank, is inducted as honorary commander of the Order of the British Empire Friday night at the British consul general's residence in Los Angeles. Hon. F. H. Gamble, the British consul general, presents Warner the insignia of the order authorized by Queen Elizabeth II. At the meeting, attended by some 200 civic leaders and motion picture magnates, Warner is honored by the British government for his deep interest and service to Anglo-American relations."
