This is a photograph of women from Lim Tsai village, "harvesting the autumn crop of rice. Some cut the growing rice stalks, then beat the stalks agains the washboard affair within the tub and the grain fall in the tub. The stalks are then carried off to be dried and stored for the winter to feed the buffalo. Lim Tsai rectory in the foreground, in background a convent for virgins and girl students being built. The church in the rear. Only part of the roof can be seen."
