Photograph article dated February 10, 1961 partially reads, "Tomorrow morning in Las Vegas, two attractive Valley housewives will climb aboard a Piper J3 (affectionately known as 'Puddle Jumper') to enter the 210-mile Sportsman's Handicap Race against all-male competition. Racing in the sky is not new to Shirley Robinson, of Burbank, and Audrey Schutte, of Canoga Park." Photograph caption reads, "Shirley Robinson, left, and Audrey Schutte prepare for flight - 'Mama's Mink' will carry them in the 210-mile air race."
