Photograph of the door to the chapel in the ruins of Mission La Purisima Concepcion, ca.1900. A man stands under the arch of the doorway looking out. A pile of timbers and roof tiles from the adobe structure litter the grassy foreground. Nearly all of the original stucco has fallen off of the adobe brick wall extending from the wall at right. Part of the roof rafters are visible bared to the sun above.
