Description: Library employee Mary Jane Strickland at the Children's circulation desk at the old Main Library. Strickland was later Burbank Public Information officer and in 1973 founded the Burbank Historical Society. “Prototype split-level circulation desk – Children’s Room – old Main Library - Burbank.”--from notes on slide mount. Stamp on slide mount indicates slide was processed October 1962.
