Photograph article dated January 10, 1964 reads, "Next attraction at the intimate Prestar Theater in North Hollywood is the classic American comedy drama, 'Burlesque,' by George Manker Watters and Arthur Hopkins. Opening tonight, the show tells the story of life behind the scenes in a burlesque show in 1929 and was originally performed on Broadway with Barbara Stanwyck and Hal Skelley in the leading roles." Pictured is Diane Sexton, who plays a stripper in the play.
