Description
84-year old Lee de Forest, electronics pioneer, in lab coat in his Hollywood, California, laboratory in 1957, using a compass. de Forest operated a small radio and film laboratory on the 14th floor of the Bekins Building in his final decades. "Hollywood, 1957. 14th floor Bekins Bldg. Laboratory" written on reverse. A second print is autographed to wife Marie, "Darling Mihita, Here shown I am drawing a circle. A circle has no end, like my love for your dear self. Your Mihito -- Lee. May 30 '58."
