"Rungwe. Die Mädchenschule. Rechts Lernraum, links Küche. Alter der Mädchen: 11, 12, 13 Jahre." ("Rungwe. The girls' school. On the right classroom, on the left kitchen. The girls' age: 11, 12, 13 years."). Three girls are standing between two large trees in front of their thatched school building. They are carrying plates and cans on their heads. The school ground is enclosed by a fence made of sticks.
Photograph is a reproduction. -- From October to December 1935 an old church building was turned into a school building.
