Four images are smaller format negatives that include Elizabeth Gordon and unidentified persons around the pool; these were likely taken in 1940. Original envelope was dated January 1940, which is likely the date for the smaller format negatives (001, 005, 006, 007). However publication reveals the 4x5 negatives were taken earlier, in 1938.
