Robert Tanenbaum discusses his novel, “Escape.” He begins by explaining that this book is part of his series that follows the main characters Butch Karp, the New York City District Attorney, and his wife Marlene Ciampi. He talks about how the plot is based around what would happen if terrorists set an economic plan to destroy Wall Street. He describes how suicide bombers justify their terrorism, and what parents of suicide bombers think about their childrens’ actions. Tanenbaum discusses the miles of tunneling below Manhattan and the inhabitants that live there. He talks about the millions of dollars that are taken from hedge fund transfers each year. Tanenbaum ends the interview by discussing a little-known Nazi concentration camp in Sobibor, Poland.
