Photograph of two men carrying a funerial coach in China, ca.1900. Two men bear the weight of the coach on their shoulders, holding a support beam to either side. The coach itself has a small window in the front, with a larger, rice-paper screen to the left. Behind them, another man is pulling a rickshaw. In the background, pedestrians can be seen traipsing along the sidewalk in front of what appear to be two-story commercial shops which line the street.
