Photograph shows Pierce Chamberlain Richardson at his cottage built in 1910 - 3 miles south of Chico on Dayton Road. He bought 60 acres from Crouch in 1908. Lived separately from his wife Mary Jane Coon Richardson. His son Alonzo built the cabin.
