Description
Men are cleaning the pumper to enter it in the State Firemen Association Parade in Monterey. The pumper was purchased by the Chinese Six Company in Chinatown. In the 1930s it was given to the Salinas Fire Department which rebuilt it and used it in fire prevention promotions. Shown left to right: H. A. Henning, regular; John Adcock, Pete DeLuna and Rod Anderson, volunteers; John King, regular, and Clem Kraul, volunteer. Volunteers not present: Earl Hansen and Ralph Loveless.
