Description
David Garrick writes a poem in praise of the Right Honorable Charles Townshend for his quick wit and leadership ability amongst the inhabitants of North America. Garrick writes the poem to Townshend "reminding him of his promise to serve Capt. Schomberg." Poem is attached to a thicker sheet for support and contains both a watermark and secondhand notations.
