This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Text written under photo: "Residence of Berkman editor of 'The Blast.' Home of the Anarchists." Photo shows the Dolores Apartments building containing six flats, one of which was presumably occupied by anarchist Alexander Berkman. "To Let" signs appear in the front windows of two of the flats. According to the 1911 City Directory this building was located at 2306 Market Street. Other apartment buildings flank it on both sides. An automobile with a very long steering column is parked in front.
