Photograph caption dated August 11, 1964 reads "Rion Clark, nine-year-old San Fernando boy says goodbye to his grandmother, Mrs. Richard Hotop, as her leaves on a bus for the Union Rescue Mission-sponsored Green Green Oak Ranch, near Vista. Some 120 boys, aged 9 through 12, left yesterday from several Los Angeles area churches for a two-week stay in the outdoors."
