Description
Photograph of an exterior view of Colonel Purcell's adobe house in San Gabriel, June 4, 1930. The large house can be seen at center. It is a one-story building with several dormers protruding from the roof. The walls of the building are light-colored and partially covered by vines, while the roof is covered with wooden shingles. Two prick chimneys can be seen on the roof. A collection of trees, including several palm trees, can be seen around the building. The front of an early automobile can be seen at right, while a driveway runs across the image in the foreground.
