Description
"Clarkson: Friedhof. Grab des Kindes Paul Theodor Weiz gestorben 1867." ("Clarkson: Graveyard. Grave of the child Paul Theodor Weiz passed away 1867."). The picture shows an old tomb-slab with an inscription that is very difficult to read. Written on the card board: "P. Theile. 1934."
The word "gestorben" was not written in the title of the card board. Instead a cross was written before the date 1867. -- Paul Theodor Weiz was probably Ernst Theodor Weiz (1827-1904) and Maria Franziska Weiz' (1835-1916), née Schammer, son. They served as missionaries of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine in Clarkson from 1864-1868.
