Description
View of the Biltmore Hotel as seen from Olive and 5th Streets. Banners and flags hang high at the front entrance of the hotel. Beginning July 11, the Biltmore Hotel will serve as the headquarters for the Democratic National Convention. Built in 1923, the Biltmore has 1,500 rooms and is 14 stories high. Architects: Schultze & Weaver. Photo dated: July 9, 1960.
