Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated May 17, 1963 partially reads, "At a tea to introduce prospective shareholders to the proposed $900,000 Valley Music Theater in Woodland Hills, Nick Mayo, president and director, and his partners, Sy Warner and Randolph Hale, answered the questions of an estimated 100 Valley women. Shares sell for $100 each in the theater, which is expected to attract pop concerts, pop and folk singers, symphony concerts, children's entertainment and other events 32 weeks of the year, top musical - dramatic presentations during the 20-week summer season. The women who attended the tea are now giving teas of their own throughout the Valley between now and Aug. 8 to sell shares to others. They are inviting their own friends and neighbors so there will be no duplications and hope, this way, to sell 5,000 more shares.
