Photograph caption dated September 22, 1964 reads, "Mel Farr, a halfback and kicking specialist, rejoined the UCLA Bruins last week after missing the first two weeks of the season due to a minor injury. Farr is expected to help out Norman Dow, the Bruins' regular punter."
