Note: "Nro. 16 u. 17 [QC-30.016.0011-0012] repräsentieren die ungemein anmuthige Hohlgasse von oben hinunter u. unten herauf gesehen etwa eine Viertelstunde oberhalb Anandapur gegen Sidapur hin. In Nro. 16 stehen im Vordergrund der K.[irchen]älteste Joseph u. s. Frau u. weiter zurück Mark. ...." (2. Quartalsbericht 21.07.1860: 11). - Diese Bemerkung könnte eher auf Bild 17 [QC-30.016.0012] zutreffen. (BFN 10.1998).- Einen ähnlichen Satz Bilder hat Ch.G. Richter durch Georg Plebst an Hermann Gundert gesandt und im Brief vom 08.02.1861 kommentiert: "Bruder Plebst wird Dir 16 Photogramme bringen. ... 13. Bambu Avenue bei Anandapur, mit Joseph u. S. Frau im Vordergrd. Im Gebüsch wirst Du mich erkennen. ..." (Original des Briefes im Besitz von Albrecht Frenz, Stuttgart). Note translation: "Nos. 16 & 17 [QC-30.016.0011-0012] show the extremely beautiful "hollow passage", one looking downhill, the other looking uphill. This place is about a quarter of an hour after leaving Anandapur on the road to Sidapur......" (C.G. Richter's 2nd quarterly report, 21.07.1860, p. 11). (BFN 10..1998). - Richter sent a similar set of phtographs to Hermann Gundert by hand of G. Plebst. He commented on them in a letter of 8th Feb. 1861 (now in possession of Albrecht Frenz, Stuttgart): "Brother Plebst will bring you 16 photographs.....no. 13 shows the bamboo avenue near Anandapur with Joseph and his wife in the foreground. You will be able to see me in the bush...."
