Third Street runs from the foreground at center through the tunnel. Several automobiles can be seen driving on the street or parked alongside its curbs. A shop can be seen at left and is identified as "Edward Peterson, Watchmaker and Optometrist". At right, a four-story brick building can be seen. Houses are visible on top of a hill in the background.
