Photograph of a birdseye view of the proposed site for the Union Station terminal in Los Angeles before construction, December 12, 1933. The terminal site is at center and is occupied by an extensive collection of warehouses and other large, low buildings. A railroad yard can be seen at right, and many boxcars are visible. A tall building sticks up above the skyline at left next to a hill that has been cleared of trees and graded. A mountain range can be seen in the distance through some haze.
