Description
This is a photograph of "Ch'a Kou-Oldest Christianity in Manchuria. 'Our Lady of the snow'. Fr. Just Bretenieres remained here before entering Korea. Old church destoyed during Boxer uprising. The town is all that is left of the old church. The old bell is now in a soldiers barracks some miles away." In the foreground stand four people.
