Photograph of an exterior view of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, located at 7006 Hollywood Boulevard, March 1934. The twelve-story rectangular building can be seen in the background at center. It is a light-colored structure with large arch-shaped windows on its first two floors, and smaller rectangular windows on the others. Many shops can e seen along the sidewalk in front of the hotel, and several automobiles are visible along the curbs. A large sign bearing the name of the hotel can be seen on the roof of the building at right. Legible signs include, from left: "Chryson", "Costume Jewelry Bags", "Distinctive Gifts", "Stationery", "College Inn", "Philco", "Radios Rented", "Roosevelt Hotel", and "Curt Houck and his Catalina Casino Music".
