Photograph caption dated April 2, 1957 reads "Marion Ryno, 20226 Stagg St., Canoga Park, is shown with 87-foot umbrella tree that toppled in high winds. More than 70 trees were down in Valley as winds reached gale force in many areas. This one had stood 30 years, was favorite climbing place for neighborhood children."
