Description
A group of men stand around a palm being transported for planting. In the background is the loggia, and sprinklers running on the lawn to the east of the loggia. MS notes on verso read "HEH grounds: palms, transplanting arecastrum" and "Aricastrum [sic] Romanzoffiana transplanting." Arecastra are now referred to as syagrus, and this particular species is often referred to as a "queen palm."
