Description
This circa 1965 postcard shows a flora rich northeast corner of Sutter's Fort, located at Twenty-Seventh and K streets. When the historic site was rehabilitated in the 1890s, the decision to plant dedicated and organized floral elements was scuttled in favor of trying to create a more "wild, rural appearance."
