Photograph caption dated October 26, 1963 reads, "Queen crowned - William J. McNelis, president of Valley College, crowns Madeline Mack, 18, Pacoima, late Friday, as the Van Nuys school's homecoming queen. Miss Mack was selected by the student body from 14 candidates. She will reign over tonight's homecoming game against Bakersfield College."
