Description
Photograph of the residence and land of Mr. Harper located in the mouth of Laurel Canyon, West Hollywood, ca.1905. A man is walking through the agricultural fields filled with short unidentified bushes (or young trees?). Many of the bushes have wooden sticks stuck in the soil under or next to them. At left is a small house situated just past the row of trees near the base of the mountain. A short way up the mountain stands the Harper residence (center). The Victorian-style house is about three-stories tall. It features an octagonal tower, dormer windows, and steeply inclined roofs.
