"This farm has been in my family for 90 years. My grandfather bought it in 1916 and he had five daughters and one son, who was my dad. He ran a small dairy and raised chickens and was known for his animal husbandry expertise. The way that we operate today is, we want to keep the animals comfortable in a healthy environment, so that we can have them outside with the pigs being able to farrow on pasture, and the chickens can run free- it's a lot of extra work, it's like the old fashioned way they did things. We've kind of gone back to my grandfather's way."- Liz Cunninghame " Liz Cunninghame, his granddaughter, and her partner Dan Bagley, raise chickens, pigs, and other animals in their diversified pastured livestock operation on her family's ranch, now called Clark Summit Farm." -Editor
