Written on photograph, Will S. Coon who came here from Coles County, Ill. - 1867-68 to Dayton. Returned to Ill.. He traded lumber and had a farm here . Additional note of identification by Carolyn Hackett Dowd the eldest daughter of Adele Bernice Coon, her father Jesse Grover Coon , his father Emmett Coon, his father William Coon, the father of Mary Jane Coon Richardson, M. Pierce Richardson, William Snider, buried in the Dayton Cemetery. He and his brother spelled their names Snider, however, their ancestors spelled it Snyder .
