Description
A poster dedicated to the Congress of Soviet writes in 1934. The caption on top reads, "Privet s'ezdu sovetskikh pisatelei! / Привет съезду советских писателей!" meaning, "Salute to the Congress of Soviet writers!". At the very bottom a quotation of a Lenin's phrase can be seen. It reads, "...literaturnoe delo dolzhno stat' chast'iu obshcheproletarskogo dela (Lenin) / ...литературное дело должно стать частью общепролетарского дела (Ленин)" meaning, "Literature must become a part of the all-proletarian movement".
